The Martin Jet Pack A New Hope ?

I see A new article in the local paper today about the Martin Jetpack "Peter Coker, chief executive of Martin Jetpacks wants the device to be used by search and rescue operators " They have been saying the same thing for years now ,  and stalling on the release date.  Why because there is stuff they don't want  you to know.

What  they are not  telling us is  the biggest customer and  the  first productions will be  for  the military . The  USA  military .   So  ,  it  will be used for killing  before it is ever used for saving lives. An interesting fact is that the very  first test pilot was a woman.
Perhaps they will be  compared to  Valkyries , removing the dead and wounded soldiers from the battlefield...

Development has been kept secret ,  but what is  the secret ?  I will tell you now.
A unique type of air compression , and ducting to remove turbulence from the rotor blade tips.  In  the early days of development of  helicopters , ducting WAS looked at and partly solved with some success by inventors and aircraft designers.

If  they sell just one Martin Jetpack , then  the secret will be out , the system will be copied and others  will learn to make them ,  and doing it better and cheeper.
So it is  highly likely that this new technology will be buried , or an executive will take the money and run off to South America.  The company last week had raised $28 million  ahead of its Australian sharemarket listing.

The Martin Jet Pack team must have watched the Ironman movies way too many times to use this colour on their new prototype.

Not sure if Jetpacks will be just another killing machine.

Have  you seen this man in your dreams ?
